The Infinite Balcony stateroom brings Celebrity’s signature Edge-class balcony concept to the European rivers. Found on both Deck 2 and Deck 3, these cabins feature the retractable floor-to-ceiling glass wall that transforms the room from an enclosed stateroom into an open-air balcony at the touch of a button. With eight Infinite Balcony cabins spread across two decks, they offer one of the best value-to-experience ratios in the Celebrity river fleet.

Cabin Numbers and Locations

Infinite Balcony staterooms are located on two decks:

Deck 2 (Vista Deck): Cabins 205, 206, 207, 208, 219, and 220 — six cabins shown in bright green (#62BB46) on the interactive deck plan. Cabins 205 and 207 are port side forward; 206 and 208 are starboard forward. Cabins 219 (port) and 220 (starboard) are positioned aft.

Deck 3 (Panorama Deck): Cabins 313, 314, 315, and 316 — four cabins also in bright green. These sit in the midship area between the Skylight Suites and the Vista Suite A cabins.

The Infinite Balcony Concept

If you’ve sailed Celebrity Edge, Apex, or Beyond, you already know the Infinite Balcony. A full-width glass wall separates the cabin from the balcony area. Press a button and the glass retracts upward, merging indoor and outdoor space into one continuous room open to the river air. Close it again and you have a climate-controlled cabin with floor-to-ceiling river views. On a river cruise, this concept is especially compelling — the riverbanks, castles, and vineyards are close enough to feel like you could touch them.

Stateroom Size and Amenities

Each Infinite Balcony cabin measures approximately 180–200 square feet. The layout includes a king-size bed (convertible to twins), a sitting area, writing desk, full bathroom, flat-screen TV, and the Infinite Balcony space with a small table and seating. Standard amenities include a complimentary stocked minibar, premium bedding, twice-daily housekeeping, and destination-inspired turndown touches. Note that Infinite Balcony cabins are classified as staterooms rather than suites, so they do not include butler service or priority excursion booking.

Best Cabin Picks

For the smoothest ride, the Deck 3 midship cabins (313–316) are ideal. They’re higher up with better views and centrally located between the Sunset Lounge and Café al Bacio. On Deck 2, cabins 205–208 are forward and closer to the Bar & Lounge, while 219 and 220 are aft near the Restaurant. If scenic views are your priority, Deck 3 Infinite Balcony cabins deliver the best vantage point at the stateroom (non-suite) price tier.

How It Compares

The Infinite Balcony is a step above the Balcony Forward and Balcony Aft staterooms, which have traditional fixed balconies. The retractable glass wall gives you more usable indoor space when closed and a more open-air feel when open. It’s a step below the Skylight Suites, which add the overhead skylight ceiling plus suite-level butler service. For travelers who love the Infinite Balcony concept but don’t need suite perks, this category hits the sweet spot.
